The VIVA is a large-scale diptych that brings together the opposing forces of stillness and motion, silence and expression. Worked across two canvases of identical dimensions, the painting invites the viewer into a dialogue that is at once intimate and monumental. Oil and mixed media are layered with intention - each mark the result of sustained contemplation. The work belongs to Mikhailenko's ongoing investigation into how paint can hold the full weight of human experience.
