Irina Shrainer is an art curator, art historian, dealer, designer, and artist whose practice bridges contemporary visual culture, research, and the evolving relationship between art and its public.

With an academic background in Art History and Theory from the Repin Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg and further specialization in Art Business and Innovative Educational Projects at the Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design, her work combines scholarly depth with a strong understanding of the contemporary art ecosystem. Her interdisciplinary approach is shaped by experience across curatorial practice, artistic production, cultural strategy, and international art commerce.

Alongside her professional activity, Irina has contributed to academic discourse through conferences and publications focused on contemporary art and cultural transformation. Her research explores how contemporary art institutions influence society and regional development, as well as the evolution of artistic language in new media practices. Among her published works is a study dedicated to Bill Viola's artistic language, methods, visual techniques, and symbolic imagery, released within the academic publication Art and Science: Current Issues in Education, Research and Technology.

Irina is also the founder of Shrainer Gallery and TopArt&Design, developing projects that connect artists, collectors, and audiences through a contemporary and internationally oriented vision.
