The Spiritual Journey I initiates a cycle of intimate meditations on paper. In this first work, Sargaskayeva establishes the visual language that will carry through all eight pieces: fragile, deliberate marks that accumulate into something larger than their individual gesture. The surface holds traces of both erasure and addition, mapping the paradox of a journey that moves inward as much as forward.
